MIAMI — The Coast Guard held an open house event Friday at Coast Guard Air Station Miami for local high school, middle school and Navy JROTC students.

More than 1,100 students were present during the event.

Students interacted with Coast Guard crews, toured assets and observed a live search and rescue demonstration from an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter.
