Coast Guard reopens Port of Savannah, Brunswick without restrictions

SAVANNAH, Ga. — As of 2 p.m., Thursday, the Coast Guard Captain of the Port (COTP) reopened the Port of Savannah and Brunswick without restrictions.
Due to potential effects from Hurricane Michael throughout the Savannah and Brunswick area, mariners are urged to transit with caution considering the possibility of aids to navigation discrepancies or other hazards to navigation.
