1. This ACN announces promulgation of REF (A) and the cancellation of REF (B).
2. REF (A) is a complete revision to align with Assignment and Special Duty
Pays, DoDI 1430.26. REF (A) should be reviewed in its entirety by CG members
and commands.
3. Major Change: Special Duty Pay (SDP) is no longer tied to billets. Effective
01 OCT 18, members will be authorized SDP if they meet all eligibility criteria
as announced REF (C).
4. No paper distribution will be made of REF (A) but is available on the CGPortal
at: https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/library/SitePages/Home.aspx, and on the internet
at: http://www.dcms.uscg.mil/directives.
