Coast Guard Sector North Carolina joint information center closes

GOLDSBORO, N.C. - The Coast Guard Sector North Carolina joint information center for the Hurricane Florence response is closing at noon Saturday.

Media should call the Coast Guard Fifth District public affairs office at 757-398-6272 for hurricane response-related inquiries.

Mariners should report any hazards to navigation to the Coast Guard Sector North Carolina command center at 919-722-4884 or the Sector North Carolina maritime transportation system recovery unit at ncportrecovery@gmail.com
