Coast Guard’s North Carolina incident commander updates post- hurricane response efforts, port openings

GOLDSBORO, N.C. - Capt. Bion Stewart, leader of the Coast Guard’s North Carolina response for Hurricane Florence and the Captain of the Port of North Carolina, discusses the Coast Guard’s continuing joint response efforts, its progress in re-establishing regular operations and the reopening of the Ports of Wilmington and Morehead City, Wednesday.
 
The ports of both Wilmington and Morehead City were re-opened by the Coast Guard with restrictions on Tuesday evening.
