GOLDSBORO, N.C. - Coast Guard shallow-water response boat team crew members rescue people trapped by floods caused by Hurricane Florence in the Mayfair neighborhood of Lumberton, North Carolina, Monday.

Shallow-water response teams use 16-foot aluminum boats in order to navigate flooded areas and provide assistance in coordination with state and local emergency operation centers.
