SUBJ: HALF MASTING OF NATIONAL ENSIGN
A. U.S. COAST GUARD REGULATIONS 1992, COMDTINST M5000.3 (series)
1. As directed by the President of the United States, the national ensign shall be
flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, 11 September 2018, in remembrance
of the victims of the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks.
2. To commemorate Patriot Day, the national ensign shall be flown at half mast on all
Coast Guard buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. Internet release authorized.
