SUBJ: COAST GUARD FEMALE UNIFORM AND GROOMING SURVEY
A. Coast Guard Female Uniform and Grooming Survey distributed 01Aug18.
1. On August 1st, the Military Uniform Program (CG PSC-PSD-mu) issued a 22 question survey to nearly 12K active and reserve female members seeking feedback regarding current female uniforms and grooming standards. Understanding that many of our junior personnel do not have dedicated access Coast Guard workstations, the submission deadline has been moved to 21 September.  Your voice is critical to the success of this survey. Please take a few minutes to let us know what you think. As a supervisor, please ensure widest dissemination and make available an opportunity and
computer access for your female workforce to complete the survey.
2. The PSD-mu staff is currently reviewing response data that has already been received. All data received will be used to formulate action items that will be presented to senior leadership via the upcoming Uniform Board 48, in October, 2018.
3. Female members that did not receive the survey and desire to participate, please email Mr. Ennis at Rockwood.L.Ennis2@uscg.mil.
4. Please do not forward your email with the survey link attached as forwarding it will allow another member to overwrite your survey responses. Each email has a uniquely identified link assigned to that member only.
