Coast Guard searches for a 62-year-old man north of Islamorada

MIAMI — The Coast Guard is searching for a 62-year-old man reported overdue Monday north of Islamorada.
Missing is Robert Vonnegut, 62.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Key West received a report from the son of Vonnegut stating his father departed from Sunrise Drive at approximately 10 p.m., Sunday on a 10-foot blue and white sailing vessel and had not returned.
Crews from a Coast Guard Station Islamorada 33-foot Special Purpose Craft—Law Enforcement boat and a Coast Guard Air Station Miami MH-65 Dolphin helicopter are searching.
