1. The PERSONNEL READINESS TASK FORCE (PRTF) announced in REF A is a seven-person team consisting of three officers (O-6, O-5/4, LT/CWO), two civilians (GS-15, GS-13) and two enlisted personnel (E-9/8, E-7/6) and will be stood up until summer 2020. The team will report to the Vice Commandant innovative solutions to enhance personnel readiness and retention consistent with the Commandant’s Guiding Principles. In addition to overall readiness of the workforce, the team will implement recommendations to improve inclusion and a culture of respect in the Coast Guard.
2. The following Enlisted assignment opporuntities on the PRTF available are:
a. (1) E9 or E8 Senior Enlisted Advisor: Advise on personnel, budget, stratgey
formulation, communications and contribute to major tasking and objectives as
identified/directed by the PRTF.
b. (1) E7 or E6: Provide logistical support, assist in development and execution
on communications plan. Assist in other collateral duties as determined by the PRTF
lead.
3. Eligibility: Assignment is open to all members meeting the special assignments criteria in CH.1.E.2.a of REF B and serving in idenitifed pay grades regardless of tour completion dates. Reserve members are also highly encouraged to apply.
4. Application: Applicants shall submit an email (Subject line: PRTF Application_Name) requesting consideration NLT 7 Sep 18 to CWO Don Wiley at the contact information below to include: 
a. Command endorsement addressing members potential to serve on the PRTF and backfill concerns/acceptability of potential gap.
5. Selectees will be notified SEPCOR with PCS orders to report NLT 1 NOV 18 to
CGHQ, Washington D.C.
a. This is a two-year assignment. Selectees should expect reassignment in AY20.
