Coast Guard searching for 2 men near Dauphin Island

 

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard is searching for two men near Central Public Beach near Dauphin Island, Alabama, Thursday.

Coast Guard Sector Mobile watchstanders received a notification at 2:47 p.m. of a 17-year-old male and 40-year-old male last seen entering the water from the beach.

Involved in the search are:

  • Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew
  • Dauphin Island Fire Rescue
  • Dauphin Island Police Department
