1. REF (A) authorized all Coast Guard active and reserve military personnel a Special
Leave Accrual to carry over a maximum of 75 days of leave into fiscal year 2018 in
accordance with REFs (B) and (C) due to participation in Hurricane Harvey
response operations. This ACN extends the Special Leave Accrual carry over for an
additional fiscal year and authorizes all Coast Guard active and reserve military
personnel to carry over a maximum of 75 days of leave into fiscal year 2019.
2. The following are the maximum leave balance carryover totals for FY17 - FY18:
     End of FY:            Carryover Limit
      30SEP17               75 days
      30SEP18               75 days
      30SEP19               60 days
3. Members should manage their earned leave balances to avoid loss of leave, and
commands are encouraged to allow their members to maximize leave.
