HOUSTON — The Coast Guard assisted four mariners from a recreational vessel taking on water near Freeport, Texas, Saturday.
Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders received a notification at 3 a.m. of four people aboard a 20-foot recreational vessel that was hard aground and taking on water approximately 75 yards from Coast Guard Station Freeport.
