SUBJ: PROMULGATION OF THE COAST GUARD OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE MANUAL
A. Coast Guard Occupational Medicine Manual, COMDTINST M6260.32 (series)
B. Coast Guard Medical Manual, COMDTINST M6000.1 (series)
C. Civilian Employee Health Care and Occupational Health Program, COMDTINST M12792.3 (series)
1. This ACN announces the release of REF (A).
2. REF (A) establishes updated policy for medical surveillance examinations for
occupational hazards, medical clearances for Coast Guard civilian employees, and the
reporting of occupational illness and injuries among Coast Guard civilian employees and
Coast Guard military members.
3. Upon the release of REF (A), REF (B) is updated and promulgated as CH-2, and REF (C)
will be hereby cancelled.
4. There will be no hardcopy distribution of this Manual. An electronic version is
located on the CGPortal at: https://cgportal.uscg.mil/library/directives/SitePages/Home.aspx.
