Coast Guard seeks public's assistance in locating owner of adrift unmanned paddle board

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Coast Guard is seeking the public’s assistance after receiving a report of an unmanned adrift, white and blue paddle board approximately half a quarter mile southwest of Calf Island, Connecticut.
No one has been reported missing or in distress in the area.
Currently assisting with the search:
-A 45-foot Response Boat – Medium from Coast Guard Station New London
-An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Anyone with information on the location of the missing kayaker is encouraged to contact the Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound command center at 203-468-4401 or on the radio at VHF-FM marine radio channel-16.
