SUBJ: HALF MASTING OF NATIONAL ENSIGN
A. United States Coast Guard Regulations 1992, COMDTINST M5000.3 (series)
1. As directed by the Secretary of Homeland Security, the National Ensign shall be
flown at half-mast on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in memory of U.S. Customs and Border
Protection Intelligence Collection Operations Manager Christopher T. Bacon.
Mr. Bacon died in the line of duty on June 7, 2018.
2. The National Ensign shall be flown at half-mast on all Coast Guard
buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. Internet release authorized.
