B. Coast Guard Medical Manual, COMDTINST M6000.1 (series)
C. Coast Guard Aviation Medicine Manual, COMDTINST M6410.3 (series)  
1. On 06 May 2018, the Department of Defense updated REF (A) which establishes
policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for physical and
medical standards for appointment, enlistment, or induction of individuals into
the Military Services to include the CG. 
2. The standards in REF (A) have replaced the accession medical standards listed in
REF (B) (Chapters 3.D. and 5.A.). The diving and aviation duties standards in REF
(B) and REF (C) have not changed.
3. This change will be reflected in a future update of REF (B) that will be released
within the next year.
