Coast Guard medevacs man near Panama City

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard medevaced a man from a charter vessel approximately 26 nautical miles south of Panama City, Florida, Thursday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Mobile received a report from the motor vessel Lady Kelley of an 18-year-old male passenger suffering from a seizure.
Watchstanders launched a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Panama City who then medevaced the patient.
The Station Panama City boatcrew transferred the patient in stable condition to waiting emergency medical services at Panama City Marina.
