SUBJ: AY19 RECRUIT COMPANY COMMANDER (RCC) SOLICITATION

1. This message solicits candidates and outlines the application
process for members interested in RCC duty for AY19.
2. Recruit Company Commander Duty is one of the most challenging
and rewarding jobs in the Coast Guard. Company Commanders
represent a wide selection of ratings, missions, and personnel
from within our organization. They serve as role models who
exhibit the highest moral and ethical conduct, embody our core
values, and exhibit exemplary grooming and fitness standards.
3. Specific program requirements can be found on the Special
Assignments portal page at reference (a).
4. Qualifications: Applicants must meet the following requirements:
A. Tour complete in AY19 or AY20.
B. Meet the requirements listed in reference (b), CH 1.E.2 and 1.E.8.
C. Meet the minimum qualifications for physical fitness for your age
group IAW U.S. Coast Guard Boat Operations and Training (BOAT) Manual,
COMDTINST M16114.32D, Part 4, Chapter 3, Art D.2.
D. Position requires three (03) years obligated service.  No waivers.
E. Must be an E-5 or E-6 (above the cut) or E-7 (not above the cut for E-8)
before the application deadline.

(NAME, EMPLID) CANDIDATE, Recruit Company Command (CURRENT UNIT NAME).
This request must be received NLT COB 15 July 2018. An E-resume or
Command endorsement in Direct Access is not required for this position.
