Coast Guard searching for person in the water near Cincinnati

 

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard is searching for a man who fell overboard from a recreational vessel on the Ohio River near Cincinnati, Ohio, Monday.

Missing is Matthew Huddleston.

Coast Guard Sector Ohio River watchstanders received a call at 11:04 p.m. Monday about 42-year-old Huddleston falling overboard from a 22-foot recreational vessel into the water between mile marker 471 and mile marker 468 on the Ohio River.

Involved in the search are:

  • Sector Ohio Valley
  • Cincinnati Fire Department  
  • Newport Police Department
