Coast Guard searching for person in the water near Panama City

 

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard is searching for a reported person in the water near Panama City, Florida, Monday.

Coast Guard Station Panama City received a report at 7:30 p.m. of a swimmer seen struggling, submerging and not resurfacing near south Panama City beach.

Involved in the search are:

  • Coast Guard Station Panama City Response Boat-Medium boatcrew
  • Coast Guard Air Station MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew
  • Coast Guard Cutter Kingfisher
  • Florida Wildlife and Fisheries helicopter aircrew
