WHAT: Boating Season Media Briefing

The Coast Guard Auxiliary will offer the opportunity for members of the media to ride aboard their 24-foot patrol vessel and opportunities to interview Coast Guard personnel. Meanwhile, members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary will be performing free recreational vessel safety examinations at the 500-slip marina.

For safety purposes, anyone who boards or rides a Coast Guard vessel or a Coast Guard Auxiliary vessel must wear a lifejacket, provided by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Also, please do not wear high heels or open toe shoes. Soft shoes are strongly recommended.
