1. This SITREP kicks off AY19 for the ET rating. ETs tour complete in
AY19, those above the SWE cut for the next pay grade, in a pay-grade
to billet mismatch, or double encumbered are all eligible to rotate
this AY. Per references (a) and (b), transferring members are encouraged
to review the ET portal page and sign up for webinars/visit road shows
to ensure complete visibility on ET assignments.
2. Early Assignment (e-Resume due 31 AUG 18): The ET Assignment Officer
(AO) will again utilize the early assignment process.
The goal of the early assignment process is to provide members sufficient
time to complete required pre-arrival training per reference (c) prior
to reporting to their new unit. This process also ensures those requiring
sea time for advancement are given the opportunity to compete for an
underway position. Due to the length of time and complexity scheduling
ET pipeline training, all E4 - E6 afloat positions will be filled at the
beginning of the Assignment Year. If there are cutters with vacancies at
the conclusion of the early assignment slating process, the AO will first
look to fill positions with members that have an Assignment Priority (AP)
4 or 5 and/or with members who have less than three years sea time.
Members already in these categories are highly encouraged to participate
in the early assignment process to maximize their input and opportunities
for assignments. Members who did not earn assignment in the early slate
process shall submit an updated e-Resume per reference (d).
a. PATFORSWA: Members applying for afloat assignments at Patrol Forces
Southwest Asia (PATFORSWA) must meet the qualifications and assignment
criteria listed in reference (e).
b. The list of early assignments can be found at reference (a). This is
a 'live' list and is expected to change over the course of the assignment
season. Members are encouraged to review on a regular basis and update
their E-resume accordingly.
3. General Assignments:

duty or special assignment shall ensure their e-Resume contains
a command endorsement as per reference (f).
