BOSTON — The Coast Guard, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and an oil spill removal organization arrived at the Mystic River leak site near the Alford St. bridge Saturday to commence a first-light clean-up and assessment.

Sector Boston’s pollution response team will oversee dive operations today, which begins the process of identifying the source of the leak.

Shoreline assessments continue with the support of NOAA’s scientific support coordinator.
