Eclipse Awards were created to recognize the efforts made by individuals in mentoring cadets to excel as lasting and inclusive Coast Guard officers. U.S. Coast Guard Academy cadets conduct a regimental review April 8, 2016.

MEDIA ADVISORY: 2018 Eclipse Week Events at CGA

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Coast Guard Academy is scheduled to hold multiple events throughout the 43^rd Annual Eclipse week, April 2-7, 2018. Media representatives are invited to attend the following events designed to support the Academy’s strategic plan of modeling a climate of inclusion and developing leaders of character.

WHAT: Opening Address

WHEN: Friday, April 6, 2018 at 8 a.m.

WHAT: Eclipse Awards Dinner

WHEN: Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 5-7 p.m.
