CHILD CARE DURING PCS
1. CGMA has implemented a new program to provide financial assistance to active duty

care costs while packing or unpacking or during other times while attending to relocation
responsibilities.

members in paygrades E6 and below, O-2 and O-1. Reimbursement is limited to $150 per child,
for up to 3 children 12 years old and under. Reimbursement may be for either commercial or
non-commercial child care services (i.e. babysitting.)
3. The policy and instructions for applying for reimbursement may be found on the CGMA
website www.cgmahq.org. Applications (Form 9) for reimbursement shall be submitted
directly to CGMAHQ for processing.
