1. Purpose. This ACN announces the promulgation of Change 1 to REF (A), and incorporates
guidance from REFs (B) and (C).
2. Background. REF (B) announces changes to the Boat Forces Readiness Framework.
REF (C) announces changes to membership on the Boat Forces Advisory Council (BFAC).
3. Summary of changes. This revision contains significant content changes, including:
   A. Replaced former Table 2-11: BFAC Standing Members with new Table 2-11:
BFAC Standing Members, containing several revisions to standing membership.
   B. Replaced former Table 2-12: BFAC Nominated Members with new Table 2-12:
BFAC Nominated Members, containing several revisions to nominated membership.
   C. Replaced former Part 5: Boat Forces Standardization System (2.0) with new Part 5:
Boat Forces Readiness Framework, containing comprehensive guidance for how Boat Forces
units shall receive Boat Forces Standardization (STAN) Inspections, and Ready for
Operations (RFO) Assessments, and how they will conduct Unit Self Assessments.
