Coast Guard, Palm Beach Sheriff's Office searching for 3 people near Lake Worth Inlet

MIAMI — The Coast Guard and Palm Beach Sheriff's Office is searching for three people aboard a boat taking on water near Lake Worth Beach Tuesday. 

At approximately, 2:07 a.m., the three people aboard the boat notified Coast Guard Sector Miami watchstanders via VHF-FM channel 16 marine band radio they were taking on water. The watchstanders directed the launch of Coast Guard Air Station Miami MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew and a Station Miami 45-foot Response Boat—Medium boatcrew along with PBSO to assist.
