1. REF (A) is promulgated and shall be reviewed by commanding officers/officers in charge
(COs/OICs), engineering and facilities department representatives, and medical department
representatives responsible for developing and maintaining a water supply and wastewater
disposal plan.
2. The ability to safely operate and maintain potable drinking water and wastewater
disposal systems is critical to the health of personnel at both afloat and ashore facilities.
REF (A) was created to guide commands in creating an effective potable water and wastewater
disposal plan, as well as meet requirements in REFs (B) and (C).
3. The official electronic version of REF (A) is maintained by Force Readiness Command
Training Division (FC-T) within the TTP library. The TTP library can be accessed by
navigating to CGPortal, selecting ‘References’, and then selecting ‘TTP Library and
Projects’.
4. Bravo Zulu to members of the Integrated Process Team (IPT) for their time,
professionalism, and diligence. IPT partners who supported this team effort include HSWL SC,
COMDT (CG-113), and COMDT (CG-1).
