SUBJ:  PROMULGATION OF PORT SECURITY SPECIALIST (PSS) TACTICS, TECHNIQUES, AND
PROCEDURES (TTP), CGTTP 3-70.3
A. Port Security Specialist (PSS) Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP), CGTTP 3-70.3
1. REF (A) is promulgated and shall be reviewed by those in USCG PSS positions who
perform maritime port security duties.
2. A Coast Guard PSS is central to USCG efforts to promote port security and critical
infrastructure protection. This TTP publication aligns with the USCG goal of training,
equipping, and employing the PSS community for success.
3. The official electronic version of REF (A) is maintained by Force Readiness Command
Training Division (FC-T) within the TTP library. The TTP library can be accessed by
navigating to CGPortal, selecting ‘References’, and then selecting ‘TTP Library and Projects’.
4. Bravo Zulu to members of the Integrated Process Team (IPT) for their time, professionalism,
and diligence. IPT partners who supported this effort include COMDTs (CG-FAC) and
(CG-FAC-1), LANTAREA, Sector Upper Mississippi, Sector Delaware Bay, Sector North Carolina,
and MSU Cleveland.
