Media advisory: Morgan City Coast Guard to hold Towing Vessel Industry Day 

MORGAN CITY, La. ­­– Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit Morgan City invites the public to attend the 2018 Towing Vessel Industry Day.

 

Who: Cmdr. Heather Mattern, commanding officer, MSU Morgan City; Lt. Andrew Czarniak, chief of inspections, MSU Morgan City, and members of MSU Morgan City inspections division.

 

What: Members of the MSU Morgan City inspections division will conduct presentations and discuss several topics including compliance options, the tug safe program, user fees and documentation, dry-docking cycles, life-saving and firefighting.

 

When: 8-11 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018.
