(WLM) TACTICS, TECHNIQUES, AND PROCEDURES (TTP), CGTTP 3-91.18
A. Machinery Space Firefighting (MSF): Coastal Buoy Tender 175 (WLM) Tactics,
Techniques, and Procedures (TTP), CGTTP 3-91.18.
1. REF (A) is promulgated and shall be reviewed by all Coastal Buoy Tender (WLM)
Commanding Officers (COs) and Coastal Buoy Tender (WLM) personnel involved in
fighting machinery space fires onboard.
2. REF (A) offers best practices for CO’s regarding prevention and response to
a machinery space fire, to include updated cutter specific checklists.
3. The official electronic version of REF (A) is maintained by Force Readiness
Command Training Division (FC-T) within the TTP library. The TTP library can be
accessed by navigating to CGPortal, selecting ‘References’, and then selecting
‘TTP Library and Projects’.
4. Bravo Zulu to members of the Integrated Process Team (IPT) for their time,
professionalism, and diligence. IPT partners who supported this team effort
include COMDT (CG-452), ATO LANT, HSWL SAFTEY, SFLC, and the WLM fleet.
5. Field feedback regarding this TTP, or any other located in the TTP library,
