2017 1095-C Forms Available in Direct Access, W-2 forms-Next U.S. Coast Guard no topic Update

IRS forms 1095-C (Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage) forms are now available in Direct Access. 

Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions on the milConnect site if you have any questions about the IRS form 1095-C.

Corrections to the IRS form 1095-C can only be made by the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) through the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS). Members must go to an ID card facility to have information updated in DEERS. Corrected IRS Form 1095-C will be loaded into Direct Access for members to view/print once DMDC has transmitted the updated files to the Coast Guard. DMDC files are typically updated weekly.

2017 IRS W-2 forms are expected to be available sometime next week (22-26 Jan). Please keep in mind that this is an approximation. In addition, be aware the IRS has announced that it will not begin accepting returns until 29 January 2018 and has reminded taxpayers claiming certain tax credits that refunds won't be available before late February. 2017 Tax Returns are due 17 April, 2018.
