SUBJ:  PROMULGATION OF FALL PROTECTION PROGRAM TACTICS, TECHNIQUES, AND PROCEDURES (TTP),
CGTTP 4-11.15
A. Fall Protection Program Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP), CGTTP 4-11.15
1. REF (A) is promulgated and shall be reviewed by Coast Guard Commanding Officers/Officers
in Charge (COs/OICs), Sector Commanders, and Safety Officers/Unit Safety Coordinators
responsible for developing and/or implementing a comprehensive Fall Protection Program.
2. Fall Protection Programs help prevent work-related injuries and fatalities due to fall
hazards present during routine operations. REF (A) was created to guide commands in
establishing effective and compliant Fall Protection Programs following significant changes
to applicable policy.
3. The official electronic version of REF (A) is maintained by Force Readiness Command
Training Division (FC-T) within the TTP library. The TTP library can be accessed by
navigating to CGPortal, selecting ‘References’, and then selecting ‘TTP Library and
Projects’.
4. Bravo Zulu to members of the Integrated Process Team (IPT) for your time, professionalism,
and diligence. IPT partners who supported development of this TTP include CG HSWL SC,
COMDT (CG-113), CEU Miami, CEU Providence, ALC, Base Alameda, ESD South Portland, and
Sector Upper Mississippi River.
