MEDIA ADVISORY: Memorial service being held to honor Coast Guard cutter crew
NEW ORLEANS -- The Coast Guard is holding a memorial service honoring the crew of Coast Guard Cutter White Alder Thursday.

Who: Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

What: The Coast Guard is inviting the media to attend a memorial service honoring the 49th anniversary of the Coast Guard Cutter White Alder sinking.

Where: USS Kidd Veterans Museum, 305 South River Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802.

When: 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
