1. Funeral services for MCPOCG Allen W. Thiele, 5th Master Chief Petty
Officer of the Coast Guard, will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church,
1765 Town Line Road, Washington Island, WI 54246, on Saturday, 14 Oct
2017 at 1100, with Full Military Honors.
2. MCPOCG Allen W. Thiele, USCG (retired) passed away on Saturday,
23 Sep 2017, as announced in REF (A).
3. In lieu of flowers, the Thiele family requests charitable donations
be made in MCPOCG Thiele's name to Coast Guard Mutual Assistance or the
Coast Guard Foundation in support of Coast Guard Personnel and their
families who have been impacted by the most recent hurricanes; Wounded
Warriors United Wisconsin; and American Legion Post 402, Washington
Island, WI.
4. MCPOCG Steven W. Cantrell, Master Chief Petty Officer of the
Coast Guard, sends.
