Coast Guard assesses vessels impacted by Hurricane Irma in Dinner Key near Miami

MIAMI — Coast Guard members and officers with the Miami Police Marine Patrol assess vessels displaced by Hurricane Irma in Dinner Key, Florida, near Miami, Oct. 4, 2017. Hundreds of vessels have been damaged or sunken by the force of Hurricane Irma. The Coast Guard, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are heading up response efforts with a strong focus on the environmental impact presented by marine wreckage.
