 HOUSTON - The Coast Guard is responding to the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey near Corpus Christi Sunday. 

The  Coast Guard National Strike Force is evaluating the area for potential hazardous material and pollution after Hurricane Harvey made landfall. 

"One of our critical focuses here is to assess any potential hazmat or pollution caused by Harvey, said Capt. Tony Hahn, incident commander and captain of the port in Corpus Christi. "We are working diligently with our partner agencies to gage and respond to any incident that occurs from Harvey."
