Coast Guard medevacs fisherman off Hampton Harbor, NH
BOSTON — A Coast Guard Station Merrimack River boat crew medevaced a fisherman Friday evening, 6 miles east of Hampton Harbor, New Hampshire.
A crewmember aboard the fishing boat Patricia Lynn radioed the Coast Guard for assistance at around 6:45 p.m., stating another crewmember was experiencing symptoms characteristic of a heart attack.
A Coast Guard Station Merrimack River 29-foot rescue boat crew heard the call while underway in the area and diverted to assist.
The Coast Guard crew took the 30-year-old-man on their boat and brought him to Hampton Harbor State Pier where emergency medical services personnel were waiting.
The fisherman was reported to be ambulatory at the time he was transferred.
