Coast Guard, partner agency medevac injured woman from New Hampshire island
BOSTON — The Coast Guard and two first responders transported a 21-year-old woman Thursday night from Star Island, New Hampshire after she fell and hit her head.
Rockingham and New Hampshire state dispatch called Coast Guard Station Portsmouth Harbor at about midnight reporting a woman fell and suffered from a head and neck injury.
A 47-foot Motor Life Boat crew, along with two Emergency Medical Services responders from Rye Fire Department, picked up the injured woman and brought her back to New Castle where she was transported to Portsmouth Hospital for further evaluation.
