SUBJ:  PROMULGATION OF THE COAST GUARD HEALTH PROMOTION MANUAL, COMDTINST M6200.1D
A. Coast Guard Health Promotion Manual, COMDTINST M6200.1D
1. This ALCOAST announces the release of the revised REF (A), which incorporates changes made over the past couple of years. Major changes contained within the policy include:
  a. Removal of Health Promotion Managers and of Unit Health Promotion Coordinators.
  b. Changes to the authorized age for tobacco use. Tobacco products are prohibited by law for all members under the age established by the state the member is currently in.
  c. Modification to the Personal Fitness Plan, Form CG-6049.
  d. Update of specific requirements for members on body fat probation and their command.
  e. Removal of the requirement for units to develop a unit fitness plan.
