PORTSMOUTH, Va. -- U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn, Colorado's 5th District congressman, toured Coast Guard Base Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Monday.

Lamborn visited Air Station Elizabeth City, the Aviation Technical Training Center, the Aviation Logistics Center, and the HC-27J Asset Project Office to learn more about Coast Guard aviation assets and their missions.

Coast Guard Rear Adm. Meredith Austin, commander, 5th Coast Guard District, joined the congressman during his tour.
