Web-TPAX Outage 21-24 April for System Upgrade to New Version (CG PPC News Update)
U.S. Coast Guard sent this bulletin at 04/17/2017 08:30 AM EDT
- A scheduled WEB TPAX outage will occur between 1400 (CDT) Friday, 21 APR 2017 and 0600 (CDT) Monday, 24 APR 2017.
- The system will be upgraded to version 6.21.6 and will be unavailable during this time.
- Ensure all travel claim documents are approved by the AO prior to 1330 (CDT) Friday 21 APR 2017. If a travel claim is in a pending status without being approved, the travel claim may become corrupt and the TONO will need to be deleted from TPAX by PPC Travel Branch. The traveler/proxy will then need to reenter the claim after the system is available on 24 APR 2017.
- A list of system changes in WEB TPAX version 6.21.6 will be published on the PPC Travel website at https://www.uscg.mil/ppc/tvl.asp and on the CG Portal at http://cglink.uscg.mil/Travel.
- Customer inquiries may be directed to PPC Customer Care Branch at 785-339-2200, toll free 1-866-772-8724, via e-mail to ppc-dg-customercare@uscg.mil, or by completing the web form at https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/units/ppc/.
- Per ALCGPSC 033/17, beginning 01 MAY 2017, all travelers will work directly with their AOs to complete claims, resolve errors, and obtain information regarding claim status, audits, supplemental claims, travel policy, or requests for explanation of travel payments. This change will provide the most rapid resolution of members travel issues, will improve AO/traveler communications and efficiency, will improve AO proficiency and expertise, and will reduce overall claim processing and reimbursement times. If an issue cannot be resolved at the AO level, the AO will submit an electronic based ticket to PPC.
