US Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Paul Zukunft to deliver the annual State of the Coast Guard Address at the National Press Club, Washington, DC

WASHINGTON — U.S. Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Paul Zukunft will deliver the 2017 State of the Coast Guard Address March 16, 2017, at the National Press Club, beginning at 2 p.m.

The commandant will participate in a media availability event immediately following the address.

WHO: Adm. Paul Zukunft, commandant, U.S. Coast Guard

WHAT: The 2017 State of the Coast Guard Address. This is an annual speech delivered by the commandant to provide a current overview of the service and to outline his priorities for the year ahead.

WHEN: The address will begin at 2 p.m., March 16, 2017

WHERE: The National Press Club, 529 14th St., NW, 13th Floor, Washington, D.C., 20045

The Metro station closest to the National Press Club is Metro Center (Blue, Orange, Silver and Red Lines). Pay parking garages are located within walking distance of the National Press Club building.
