Last night the ITACS Public Status "FDA Lab Analysis Completed" was modified in order to clarify for the Import trade community that a FDA Compliance Officer must review the results before making an admissibility decision. See the new status below:
‘FDA Lab Analysis Completed. FDA Compliance Staff are reviewing the line to determine admissibility. This status will be updated
when that determination is made, and the final admissibility decision for this line will be reflected in the Notice of FDA Action
generated after that decision is recorded by FDA.’
Please wait for receipt of an update via ITACS, ABI, and/or a Notice of FDA Action before contacting FDA regarding changes to line status while a line is pending Compliance review and decision-making.
If you have any questions regarding this change or ITACS in general please send them to itacssupport@fda.hhs.gov.
