Title: ACE Production Fixes for Entry Summary Validations
To: Automated Broker Interface
Fixes to several recently discovered issues with the ACE Entry Summary Validations (ESV) were deployed to ACE production on Friday evening, May 30, 2014.
Those fixes include:
• A scenario where ACE entry summaries were rejected incorrectly for MPF required. A few ACE entry summary transactions with country of origin (COO) and country of export (COE) Curacao (CW) were incorrectly rejected by ACE requiring MPF. (ACE ESAR Issue number 1193)
• A scenario where ACE entry summary transactions were rejected for ACE system failure. In this scenario ACE entry summary AE transactions with no article/HTS data (no 50-record) were rejected for ACE system failure and should have been rejected for HTS number missing. (ACE ESAR Issue number 1188)
• Another scenario where ACE entry summary transactions were rejected for ACE system failure. In this scenario ACE entry summary AE transactions with no country of export reported in the 40-record were rejected for ACE system failure and should have been rejected for country of export missing. (ACE ESAR Issue number 1189)
• Another scenario where ACE entry summary transactions were rejected for an ACE system failure due to a rare data base issue. (ACE ESAR Issue numbers 1186 and 1192)
