On October 5, 2013, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be deploying the first of seven planned deployments to the ACE Commercial Environment (ACE) in support of CBP’s plan to complete core trade processing capabilities in ACE and decommission the Automated Commercial System by the end of 2016. Deployment A includes the following:

• ACE Cargo Release Pilot (also known as Simplified Entry) expansion

• Partner Government Agency (PGA) Message Set pilots

• Entry Summary Validations for Harbor Maintenance Fee and tariff classification

• ACE Reports software upgrade
