WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is pleased to announce that onsite registration for its annual East Coast Trade Symposium scheduled for October 24-25, 2013, is now open and the event will be available for a fee of $108.00. CBP will only convene one Symposium this year.



Registration for onsite participation must be made online at the CBP website at http://cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/trade_outreach/2013_trade_symp/onsite_reg.xml



The CBP East Coast Trade Symposium will be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel. It will feature panel discussions involving agency personnel, members of the trade community, and other government agencies on the agency’s role in international trade initiatives and programs. Panels will cover a variety of topics such as ACE, Centers for Excellence and Expertise, Exports, and Trusted Trader Programs.



This year marks the 13-year anniversary of the CBP East Coast Trade Symposium. The theme this year is "Increasing Economic Competitiveness Through Global Partnership and Innovation."
