Patrick V. McNamara Federal Building, Detroit, MI, Closure
Due to a power outage, the U.S. Customs & Border Protection Port of Detroit offices located on the 2nd Floor of the Patrick V. McNamara Federal building are closed today, Thursday, September 12, 2013. We will provide an CSMS update on when operations will resume. For any urgent issues, please contact the Detroit Field Office at 313-496-2155. As a result of the closure, a “snow day” is being granted to all who file entries at the port of Detroit for September 12, 2013. CBP is extending an additional day without penalty for any late filed entry summaries and payments of duties that were due on September 12, 2013 in the port of Detroit.
