Customs Brokers: we would like to continue our discussion of the basic outline for CBP’s proposed continuing education requirement as part of the 19 CFR Part 111 overhaul. We will be answering outstanding questions from the May 2nd webinars, providing further clarification, and answering new questions.

CBP is continuing to conduct public Webinars as we develop our proposed rule for 19 CFR Part 111. This is part of CBP’s “Role of the Broker” initiative, which looks to meaningfully transform the relationship between the customs broker and CBP.
